Are these the Jets’ new uniforms?

It appears the Jets’ new uniforms have leaked on social media just a day before the team’s official reveal party.

In an image spreading across Jets Twitter, you have Sam Darnold, Jamal Adams, Leonard Williams, Chris Herndon, Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson wearing three different sets of uniforms. Most notably is the switch to a brighter, more vibrant green, as well as the addition of a black alternate jersey.

While these uniforms are not official, The Athletic’s Connor Hughes tweeted that the duds in the picture above are indeed what the Jets will be wearing.

Hughes reported a couple of weeks ago that the uniforms were going to be a complete redesign. He said the colors and logo were new. He also said that  kelly green would replace the old shade, while the numbers would resemble what the University of Oregon uses. Lastly, there would be a black alternate jersey.

For better or worse, the picture above matches all of that.

Again, nothing is official just yet, but from the look of this leak, hype surrounding the new uniforms was blown way out of proportion. If we’re being honest, this is the look of a Pop Warner team.
