- The final week of March, from the 24th to the 30th, saw a significant 64 per cent jump in UK visitor numbers compared to the previous year.
- The TGA reassured travellers that popular Turkish holiday destinations like Istanbul and Antalya are located hundreds of miles from the conflict zone.
- Online travel agency On the Beach reported a 160 per cent increase in bookings to Turkey in the last week of March, largely for last-minute Easter holidays.
