Around that time, a source told DailyMail.com that the movie star duo were officially an item, and they did not deny the rumours - instead telling press how they were in love with each other.
But now it seems the pair are not together according to rumours, leaving many wondering whether it was all a publicity stunt.
Are they dating now?
The pair have not ever provided any comments confirming their relationship but sources seem to suggest the pair were dating for some time. Their current status is unknown.
The two performers did say they are “smitten” with each other through sources though, who spoke to People magazine without providing any other information.
Sparks allegedly first appeared when they started filming in May 2024. According to the source, “She has been telling friends he is smitten and does a lot of sweet things for her, like sending her flowers, and spending time with her sons and dogs.”
Dating rumours began to circulate when Liam gushed about working with the Barbed Wire star in his People cover story in November 2024, even going so far as to say he was "madly in love with her".
He told the magazine: “With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with. I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.”
Meanwhile, Anderson referred to him as “the perfect gentleman” and told the magazine, “He brings out the best in you…with respect, kindness, and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him.”

The pair met on the set of The Naked Gun, according to Neeson.
Neeson told NBC’s Today: “I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors. It was like, ‘Oh, this is nice, let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”
The film is the fourth big-screen instalment of the crime-spoof comedy franchise, which started with the ABC series Police Squad! in 1982.
Neeson plays the role of Frank Drebin Jr. while Anderson portrays Beth Davenport in the 2025 film. Additionally, it marks Anderson's comeback to comedy following her highly praised role in The Last Showgirl.
