Donald Trump’s granddaughter Arabella Kushner has suddenly found herself in the spotlight after being spotted alongside the president at the US Open final in New York. The 14-year-old daughter of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump sat next to her grandfather as they watched Carlos Alcaraz beat Jannik Sinner at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday, according to The Cut.
Arabella, the eldest of Ivanka and Jared’s three children, was seated in a prime section with some of Trump’s closest allies. Among them were Attorney General Pam Bondi, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Arabella’s father Jared, and special envoy Steve Witkoff. One person missing from the gathering was Ivanka, who is often seen as the sportier member of the family. She is said to be working with UFC boss Dana White on a bold plan to host a fight night on the White House lawn.
It was a tricky evening for the teenager as her grandfather was loudly booed when his face appeared on the stadium’s big screens. His presence also brought extra security, reportedly causing a delay to the match. Still, Arabella stayed calm and composed, watching the tennis unfold in front of her.

Her appearance came just a year after her cousin Kai Trump, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., made waves by speaking at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. Kai, now 18, has since carved out her own public role as a self-styled MAGA influencer. She has millions of followers on TikTok and Instagram and has even picked up lucrative sponsorship deals, particularly in golf.
The question now is whether Arabella will take a similar route. For most of her life, she has kept out of the spotlight, apart from occasional family photos that Ivanka posts on social media.

She has been present at White House events, sometimes in the company of her other grandfather, Charles Kushner. He is a controversial figure himself, a convicted felon who was pardoned by Trump before being confirmed as US ambassador to France last year.
Arabella has already stirred up a bit of attention once before. In the heat of the 2024 election campaign, it emerged that she and Ivanka attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami. This was awkward timing, given Trump’s public dislike of Swift and the fact that she had endorsed his rival Kamala Harris. The mother-daughter night out instantly became a talking point.
For now, Arabella’s role seems limited to being a supportive granddaughter who happened to be in the stands. Whether she follows her cousin into politics or social media influence remains to be seen. But in the Trump family, avoiding attention is easier said than done.
