The iPhone 14 launched late last year and there's good news for anyone yet to take the plunge. Apple has just announced a reboot of this popular device with it now coming in a brand new and very brash Yellow colour. When the iPhone 14 was first revealed back in September 2022 you could only purchase it in Midnight, Starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, Blue and Purple. But now there's that bright addition to add to the list.
Other than that new shade, everything else is the same as before with this latest device featuring a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen that's covered in tough Ceramic Sheild glass. There's also a dual-lens camera that not only takes better images at night but also includes a new Action mode for shake-free videos - it even works when you take it for a jog.

Tucked under the hood is Apple's mighty A15 Bionic processor and owners should find this device provides some pretty epic battery life thanks to better efficiency from the chip. When things do run low it can be refilled via Apple's unique MagSafe charging which snaps to the rear case.
Two other new life-saving upgrades that arrived on the iPhone 14 range include Crash Detection and Emergency SOS via satellite.
As the name suggests, Crash Detection spots when you've had a prang in your car and then sends an alert to contacts and the emergency services. A precise location is also included helping you get found faster.
Emergency SOS could also be vital if you find yourself off the beaten track and in need of help as this service can send a text to space meaning there's no need for a mobile signal.
There are even pre-loaded alerts and messages should you find yourself injured and unable to tap out a text. Apple says this option will be free for the first two years - it's unclear what the cost will be after that.
Along with the standard model getting the new colour scheme, the larger iPhone 14 Plus is also getting that new yellow design with this device featuring a mighty 6.8-inch screen.
“People love their iPhone and rely on it every day for all that they do, and now there’s an exciting addition to the lineup with a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “The extraordinary battery life, lightweight design, pro-level camera and video features, groundbreaking safety capabilities like Emergency SOS via satellite, and all iOS 16 has to offer make iPhone 14 a great option for anyone in the market for a new iPhone.”
The new iPhone 14 Yellow is out next week with prices starting from £849.
