AYODHYA: Bharatiya Janata Party MP from UP's Kaiserganj, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, on Thursday said he would not allow Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray enter Ayodhya until he apologises to north Indians. Singh also advised UP CM Yogi Adityanath not to meet Thackeray.
Singh tweeted, "Won’t let Raj Thackeray enter the border of Ayodhya. If he wants to come to Ayodhya, he should first apologise to all North Indians with folded hands. Only after this he will get an entry in Ayodhya."
Singh is also the president of Indian Wrestling Association. He has been associated with the Ram temple movement. He was among the 40 people who were made accused, including LK Advani, in the case when the Babri Masjid was demolished in 1992. A CBI court later absolved them all.
Thackeray had announced his visit to Ayodhya on June 5.
The MNS has put up "Chalo Ayodhya" posters in Mumbai, appealing to the people to join the party chief on his visit to Ayodhya. The poster in Hindi reads, "Jai Shri Ram. Dharmada nahi main bhi dharm abhimani. Chalo Ayodhya".
