AP CM to inaugurate last stretch of Srinivasa Sethu elevated expressway on Sept 18

TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate the last stretch of the Srinivasa Sethu elevated expressway works in Tirupati on September 18.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams executive officer AV Dharma Reddy told reporters that the Chief minister who will present pattu vastrams to Lord Venkateswara on the first day of the annual Brahmotsavams on September 18, will also inaugurate some newly constructed guest houses at Tirumala.

Meanwhile, TTD announced that VIP break darshan on reference letters and all forms of privilege darshans will remain suspended during the Brahmotsavams at Tirumala between September 18-26.

The temple trust also announced that movement of two wheelers along the twin ghat roads will be prohibited on the Garuda seva day on September 22.

Meanwhile Dharma Reddy clarified that curbs imposed on pilgrim movements on the twin pedestrian routes and the ghat roads due to leopard attacks, will continue indefinitely, until such time till the state forest department suggests to lift them off.

District collector K Venkataramana Reddy, SP P Parameswara Reddy, Chief priest Venugopala Deekshitulu and other officials took part in the TTD's coordination meeting held at Tirumala on Thursday.
