AOMORI -- The city of Aomori has created a video to promote its tourist attractions, posting the contents on the video-sharing website YouTube, as part of efforts to attract tourists after the coronavirus outbreak is contained.
The video, titled "The attractions of Aomori City in Japan," introduces some of the highlights of the city, such as the Nebuta Museum Wa Rasse, Asamushi Onsen hot spring and the Sannai-Maruyama special historical site. The video includes a message from tourism facilities.
The city also has released videos with subtitles in English and Chinese, with both simplified and traditional characters, to provide information to travel agencies overseas.
"We want people to come to Aomori once the virus is contained, after learning about the charm of the city through our video," an official of the city said.
