Anton Du Beke has said his “heart is full” after spending the weekend celebrating his 60th birthday.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge turned 60 on Monday and thanked his loved ones for helping him mark the occasion.
Sharing a post on Instagram showing him with family and on a driving range, he captioned it: “Hello, my loves!
“I’ve had the most wonderful weekend celebrating my birthday, surrounded by the people I hold dear. My heart is full.
“Thank you for all your incredibly kind messages and good wishes. Here’s to the next chapter, many more happy memories and of course… plenty more golf! With love, Anton XX.”
Du Beke then received a string of messages from some of his Strictly colleagues, with head judge Shirley Ballas commenting: “Happy 60th birthday my king.”
Professional dancer Amy Dowden wrote: “Happy birthday @mrantondubeke. Enjoy celebrating with your beautiful family xxx.”
Dancer Luba Mushtuk, who left the show after a decade in 2025, said: “Happy birthday Antonio.”
Sharing a video on her Instagram Stories, Ballas also posted a video of her dancing with Du Beke on Strictly and captioned it: “Happy Birthday to my dancing king. See you soon for more of this. You’re a star in my book.”
Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford, who was partnered with Du Beke in 2017 when he was a professional dancer on Strictly, also shared a photo of them together, which she captioned: “What? 60? Cant’ be right surely?!!! Happy Birthday partner! Big love.”
Du Beke has appeared in every season of Strictly since it began in 2004. He was initially a professional dancer and was paired with celebrities including Dame Esther Rantzen, Patsy Palmer, Kate Garraway and Jerry Hall.
In 2010 he competed with politician Ann Widdecombe, who was found dead at her home in Devon earlier this month.
When news of her death was announced, and prior to police announcing they had launched a murder investigation, Du Beke shared a video on X in which he paid tribute.
In it he said: “I had the most brilliant time with Ann on Strictly Come Dancing.
“She became a real friend. She was fun. She was upbeat. She was positive. She was supportive. We had an incredible time together and we stayed firm friends.
“My thoughts go out to all of her nearest and dearest and all her family. This is a sad day and I’m devastated by the news of Ann’s passing, but I shall remember her fondly, and miss her.”
