Antoine Griezmann has been a Manchester United target since last season, but a transfer has never come close to materialising.
The Frenchman's future was the subject of much speculation in the summer of 2018, but in the end Griezmann decided to sign a new deal with Atletico Madrid.
Later, rumours emerged that Griezmann felt he had made the wrong decision on his future, and this summer he released a vlog in which he outlined his intentions to finally leave Atletico Madrid.
Despite United's interest, Barcelona have always been favourites to secure the Frenchman's signature, but the Catalan club no longer seem keen to sign him.
In fact, reports in Spain suggest Barcelona want to re-sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain in a bid to strengthen their attack.
Griezmann was asked about his future following France's 4-0 win over Andorra, and spoke about moving abroad - suggesting a transfer to Barcelona is off the table.
"There's a need for patience, as it's still soon. I want my future to be decided more than anyone, but there's a need to wait," said Griezmann.
"I don't know if I'll remain in Spain. Maybe in two weeks we'll know something. I just want to play football and have fun."
Manchester United are in the market for a new striker as Romelu Lukaku's future remains the subject of speculation.
The Belgium international looks set to sign for Inter Milan this summer, where he will link up with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
Lukaku is remaining tight-lipped about his future for the time being though.
"I have a contract with Manchester United," said Lukaku. "I will talk to the club and my agent to make the best decision."
