Are there any specials coming up?

Yes, the BBC has announced a special to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ Day.

The BBC says: "Antiques Roadshow marks the 80th anniversary of VJ Day with a special episode filmed at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, featuring interviews with veterans and the families of those who took part in the victory over Japan."

The episode features interviews with two veterans of the conflict, both aged 100 - Naval Officer Bill Redston, who narrowly escaped death in both Normandy and Burma (now Myanmar), and Private Joseph Hammond, who travelled from Ghana to join the Fourteenth Army and was involved in some of the most ferocious fighting of the conflict.

There was a VE Day special shown in May. Fiona Bruce marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day in Berlin and Bletchley Park. Featuring interviews with veterans and the stories of those who helped liberate Europe, including a 100-year-old woman who worked alongside Allied codebreakers and a German army veteran who reflects on the rise of the Nazi regime. Items valued include a pistol taken from a German general, stationery from Hitler's mountain retreat, model tanks from a training school, and a pair of miniature clogs.

Previously, an EastEnders special went out on February 16 and is available to watch on iPlayer.

Fiona presented the special episode from the set of EastEnders celebrating the history of film, theatre, music and television. The team valued some iconic bits of memorabilia, including iconic props from Star Wars, The Shining and Raiders of the Lost Ark, as well as a script for the very first episode of Doctor Who. Plus, a woman revealed how her collection of Harry Potter books brought back memories of her mother, and Fiona dropped into the Queen Vic.

We also had the Christmas special, which you can still watch on iPlayer.

The BBC says: "In a special festive episode, the Antiques Roadshow team look back at some of the most memorable items from recent shows and find out what happened next.

"From a beautiful brooch with a link to a renowned Parisian jeweller to a medal awarded for the ultimate sacrifice, Fiona and the team present a heartwarming and often moving look back at poignant items and mysterious treasures that have appeared on the show."
