Antiques Road Trip star immediately shut down by co-host

Antiques Road Trip host Charles Hanson was swiftly told "no" as he made a request to his co-star Raj Bisram on the latest episode.

The presenters began their journey in Newcastle Emlyn in West Wales, where they began hunting for bargains in local shops. They then travelled to Bolton to auction off their purchases.

As ever, the aim of the game was to make the most profit.

After their first shopping experience, Raj visited a local cook to help her make some traditional Welsh treats. Then it was time for he and Charles to set off in the camper van to their next stop.

Charles said: "I've never been camping, don't enjoy camping, but I think on a jolly Antiques Road Trip holiday I can survive it. Survive the night with Raj, win the week, that's how I see it".

As day two dawned, Raj and Charles both wore bold flower patterned shirts. Narrator Tim Wonnacott told viewers he was "blinded" by them.

Raj said: "This road trip is turning into flower power". Charles replied: "I found this shirt, I think you know, this is Wales. It's you and I, on a flower power tour, we've reflected that in our shirts".

Chris then asked Raj if he'd like to swap shirts, to which the reply was quickly: "No thanks". When Chris asked why not, Raj said: "Have you seen yourself in the mirror?"
