Ant and Dec pay for expectant mum's wedding

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly made an incredibly kind gesture to an NHS nurse who lost £28,000 after her dream wedding was cancelled.

On tonight's Saturday Night Takeaway, Vicky was surprised by Ant and Dec as they asked her to join them on stage.

The TV hosts revealed to the studio audience that Vicky's wedding had been cancelled three times, leaving her £28,000 out of pocket.

Vicky, Ant and Dec were then joined by her fiance via video link from Miami.

But suddenly his hotel background dropped to the floor to reveal a wedding venue behind him.

He then asked Vicky, who is pregnant, if she would marry him tonight at a wedding venue in West London, in front of their family and friends.

Vicky accepted the proposal and Ant and Dec explained how it had taken months to plan the ceremony.

They told Vicky she would have her dream wedding tonight live on TV at the end of Saturday Night Takeaway.

Ant said they had booked her a white Rolls Royce and sorted her wedding dress.

They then whisked her away in a black limousine and organised a private helicopter to fly her to the West London venue.

Viewers at home said the surprise left them very emotional.

Vittoria said: "Crying at the secret wedding on #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

Elle May tweeted: "BRB just crying over the woman being surprised with a wedding on #SaturdayNightTakeaway."

Melanie said: "Crying already!!!! The surprise wedding!!!"

And Rachel added: "@antanddec I was filling up already at the surprise wedding! Amazing, why I love this show."
