Annan boss Peter Murphy is determined to bury their home hoodoo tomorrow against Stirling Albion.
His Galabankies side have failed to win a home game since October when they ditched Premiership outfit Hamilton Accies 3-1 in the Betfred Cup.
Now Murphy wants to beat the jinx by beating the Binos in their League Two encounter.
Annan pocketed a point in midweek in a 1-1 draw at Edinburgh City.
Tony Wallace put the Galabankies ahead with a 65th minute penalty only for City to level five minutes later with an equaliser from Ousman See.
Murphy said: “In the end up I am pleased with the point, but after taking the lead you always want to see it out.
“It will be a tough game with Stirling this weekend because of how the top of the table has changed with other results.
“They have also brought in three new players on loan from Darvel Juniors plus they recruited really well at the start of the season.
“But we have to coach the players into believing in themselves and going for a win when they are in front and not try and just defend.
“That was the disappointing thing about the other night – that we conceded a goal to Edinburgh City so quickly after taking the lead.
“We had been on the front foot for the whole game and we will coach them to think that when they go ahead to believe in themselves and get rid of any anxiety.
“But that can happen when you have young players.”
Tyler Fulton is a doubt for tomorrow after missing the midweek match in the capital with an ankle injury sustained in last weekend’s 3-0 home defeat by Elgin City.
