Angry mob gathers in street to hound man out of property shouting 'paedo' and 'beast'

An angry mob gathered in a Scots street earlier to hound a man from a property.

Protesters stood outside an East Lothian property to scream 'beast' and 'paedo b******' at man who was escorted away by police.

Video footage showed the furious crowd jeer and shout as they watched him cover his face as he was escorted by police in Ormiston this evening.

Some protesters tried to approach him but were knocked back by cops walking him to a police van.

The group then applauded each other after the man got into the back of the vehicle.
