Ange Postecoglou's Celtic press conference in full as boss insists Rangers withdrawal doesn't ruin Sydney Super Cup

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou insists he's still looking forward to the Sydney Super Cup despite Rangers pulling out of the Down Under tournament.

The Ibrox club pulled out of the November trip abroad that would have seen the first ever Old Firm derby played overseas.

They were due to meet Celtic as well as Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers in the tournament marketed as Postecoglou's homecoming tour.

But they pulled out and blamed the tournament organisers for being "unwilling to fulfil their commitments" to the club.

Postecoglou though insists he's looking forward to it going ahead regardless as he said Rangers pulling out is no disappointment.

He said: "Apart from the fact that I think it's going to be great for our football club because I know how passionate people are about this club and football in general, for me it's a trip back home. So I am certainly looking forward to it.

"Disappointment? Disappointment for me is about things I can control. I'm not going to get disappointed over things that I have got nothing to do with."

Celtic travel to Ibrox to face Rangers on Sunday with Postecoglou welcoming back long-term absentee Kyogo while Tom Rogic is also fit and available despite a scare - meaning James Forrest is the only player missing.

Rogic was touch and go after missing his country's games during the break but Postecoglou insists he has recovered and is good to go for Sunday.

He went on: "If we had a game last weekend, Rogic wouldn't have played, he didn't train all last week.

"He missed Monday and Tuesday but he has put in a couple of sessions now and he feels good so he is available again."
