Ange Postecoglou can secure £55m transfer windfall if Daniel Levy sanctions 7 Tottenham exits

Ange Postecoglou will be looking to Daniel Levy to secure him signings in the summer transfer window to reshape the Tottenham squad in his image.

But as well as new players coming in through the entrance door at Hotspur Way, Postecoglou will be expecting to see some current players leave too.

The first decisions will probably be made on the fates of the players who have been playing away from Tottenham in the past season - those on loan across the globe. Do any of them have a future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium moving forward under the Australian?

The one who has been on loan who is likely to have more of a future than others is Destiny Udogie, who has yet to don the Spurs shirt. That is because Spurs signed him last summer and agreed to loan him back to his club Udinese for the season.

The Italian is expected to be a big hit at Spurs, with Udinese teammate Lazar Samardzic describing him as "amazing". Speaking to the Italian Football Podcast, Samardzic said: "Udogie is the best left-back in Serie A for me. He can do everything. I think he will be an important player for Tottenham next year. He is an amazing player."

But what of the rest? Tanguy Ndombele has failed to hit the heights of his £63million price tag, Djed Spence has hardly got a look-in, Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon and Bryan Gil did not really adapt to life in the Premier League and Harry Winks and Joe Rodon's time looks up in N17.

So what if Postecoglou decided to sell them all? How much could he raise for incoming transfers? The answer is not as much as he would like.

Many of their values have deflated over time due to their lack of match action at Tottenham. Looking at the CIES Football Observatory valuations tool, Postecoglou could make some money by letting all seven of them go, but it may only fund one new signing.

CIES values:

Tanguy Ndombele - £12.8million

Giovani Lo Celso - £8.5million

Joe Rodon - £8.5million

Sergio Reguilon - £4.2million

Harry Winks - £4.2million

Bryan Gil - £12.8million

Djed Spence - £4.2million

Total: £55.2million
