Andy Robertson overheard yelling "f****** hell honestly" during Liverpool vs Monterrey

Andy Robertson summed up Liverpool's frustration with an x-rated blast during the first half of their FIFA Club World Cup semi-final with Monterrey.

The Reds had taken the lead through Naby Keita but the Mexicans were level two minutes later when Rogelio Funes Mori bundled into an open goal.

Liverpool were forced to endure a difficult first half in general as they struggled to find a way past Marcelo Barovero, while Alisson was regularly tested.

One of the main sources of annoyance came through Monterrey midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro and his fairly regular flops to the ground.

In the 33rd minute Pizarro was taken down from behind by centre back for the day Jordan Henderson while attempting a counter attack.

Henderson had appeared to have least won the ball but Pizarro threw himself to the ground before rolling around.

Robertson, running back into his left-back position, glanced down at the Mexico international before appearing to stare straight at the fourth official and yell "f****** hell honestly".

A microphone close to the touchline picked up the comment as it was broadcast to those watching on BBC 2 and around the world.

Fans picked up on Robertson's comment and took to Twitter .

One said: "lmfao robbo screaming “f****** hell, honestly?!” is killing me at work."

Another added: Robbo saying “F****** Hell Honestly” is all of us right now."

Alex posted: "Hahaha pizarro dives in front of the camera and robbo is like f****** hell honestly?? leave that behaviour in the 2006 premier league."

A rare bright spark for Jurgen Klopp's side came through Keita and Mohamed Salah's almost telepathic link-up - which set-up the opening goal.

And ex-Liverpool star Harry Kewell praised the duo, while questioning whether their newly found relationship was nature or nurture.

"Salah and Keita seem to have a good connection - do they have natural chemistry or are they working on it in training?

"Salah is so strong and Keita must be thinking he can get in behind every time, the balls that are coming in are so good from Salah.

"There are certain players who have a natural feeling to just get into the box and Keita seems to have that.
