Andy Gray left speechless as Rangers go top before pundit fan breaks into huge smile

Andy Gray isn't normally one to stay quiet but he didn't have much to say as he discovered Rangers were top of the Premiership.

While working on beINSPORTS English Premier League coverage, Richard Keys then discussed the defeat for Celtic against Livingston and Rangers big win over Hamilton.

Alongside Roberto Di Matteo, the former Rangers striker and boyhood fan burst into a huge smile as he asked Keys to keep the graphic of the league table on the screen for all to see.

The video shows behind the scene with the table only available for viewers at home and Gray is loving life as he looks at Rangers top of the league.

It starts with Keys presenting as he says: "Celtic lost to Livingston by two goals to nil, Rangers followed that up by beating Hamilton by five and that’s now confirmed they finish top of the Scottish Premiership tonight.

"There we are, don’t think any saw Livingston’s win coming ..."

But he's interrupted by Gray as a big smile appears on his face and he laughs: "Can you just leave that there for a minute?"

Keys continued by saying: "After all the turmoil at Ibrox the last few years, they are back where they started" before he was once again interrupted by Gray who jumped in to say: "As Rangers fans would say ‘back where we belong’ but obviously as a neutral you have to couch your words carefully" but he couldn't hide the smile on his face.

Gray spent one season at Rangersat the end of his career in 1988/89. He scored five goals in 14 league appearances as the Ibrox side won the first of their nine in a row titles before he spent a season with Cheltenham in the English conference.
