Andrew threatened with fresh legal action after second woman alleges she was flown to UK by Epstein for sex

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is facing fresh allegations after a second woman claimed that Jeffrey Epstein flew her to the UK for a sexual encounter.

The woman’s lawyer has issued an ultimatum - for Andrew and the Royal Family to meet and discuss the claims, or else face court action.

The woman, who remains unnamed, alleges that she spent a night with Andrew at his Royal Lodge home in 2010, and was then taken to Buckingham Palace for tea.

The woman, who is not British, is said to have been in her 20s at the time - though no evidence has been provided in support of her claims.

The woman is the second to claim she was brought to London to have sex with Andrew, but this is the first time that an Epstein survivor has alleged that a sexual encounter took place at a royal residence.

Andrew has always vehemently denied all allegations against him but is yet to address the latest claims.

The woman’s lawyer, Brad Edwards, has represented over 200 alleged Epstein victims, and previously sued the former prince on behalf of Virginia Giuffre, who claimed she was brought to the UK to have sex with Andrew in 2001 aged just 17.

Giuffre, who also alleged she had sex with Andrew in New York and on Epstein's Caribbean island, filed a civil lawsuit in the US against Andrew in 2021, which was settled in February 2022 for an estimated £12m. She took her own life last year.

Mr Edwards, from US firm Edwards Henderson, told the BBC: “We're talking about at least one woman who was sent by Jeffrey Epstein over to Prince Andrew. And she even had, after a night with Prince Andrew, a tour of Buckingham Palace."

He added that he was considering filing a civil lawsuit on behalf of the 200 women against Andrew.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles amid pressure over his ties with Epstein, who was convicted of soliciting sex from a 14-year-old girl in 2008, and died in a New York prison cell while waiting trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019.

On Friday, more than three million documents relating to Epstein were released by the US Justice Department, revealing further exchanges between Epstein and Andrew.

These included pictures appearing to show Andrew posed on all fours over a woman on the floor, as well as an email Epstein sent to the former prince in 2010 offering to set him up with “a friend”.

This weekend, prime minister Sir Keir Starmer called for Andrew to testify to a US Congress investigation into Epstein, so that the paedophile financier’s victims can be given all they “deserve and need”.

Mr Starmer said: “Epstein's victims have to be the first priority. In terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who has got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they are asked to do that. You can't be victim-centred if you're not prepared to do that.”

Speaking about the new claimant, Mr Edwards told The Mail: “She was severely exploited by Jeffrey Epstein. An extension of that was the exploitation of her by Prince Andrew.

“She's a strong person. She wants to believe in justice but it's very difficult in light of what she knows.

“We need some cooperation and we need somebody with a conscience and a real desire to make things right.”

He also criticised the Royal Family for their handling of Andrew, saying: “The idea they've stripped him of his title so they have done some victim some justice is laughable because the reality is the criminal justice system is never going to investigate or punish Andrew.”

In October, Buckingham Palace said: "Their majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been and will remain with the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.”
