Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani admits that his best moment as Leeds United’s chairman is still to come.
The Whites are currently targeting promotion into the Premier League for the first time since 2004 and they stand a good chance of managing exactly that.
With nine games to go, United sit top of the Championship table and seven points clear of the play-off places. However, their promotion hopes have been put on hold, with the season currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Leeds fan John McGlashan tweeted Radrizzani to ask him what his favourite memory has been since becoming the Whites’ chairman.
In a cryptic response, Radrizzani said that promotion to the Premier League would be his best moment as the club’s chairman.
“That one has to come yet,” Radrizzani replied, a response that has already had more than 1,000 likes on Twitter.
