Andrea Pirlo paid a glowing tribute to Anfield after today's entertaining legends game between Liverpool and AC Milan.
The Reds won 3-2 thanks to some late Liverpool legends player 'ratings' - how Gerrard, Carragher, Fowler and co did against AC Milan - but not before Pirlo had curled in a wonderful free-kick for the visitors.
Speaking after the match, the Italian great saluted everyone involved in the 'special' occasion which raised around £1million for the LFC Foundation.

He said: "It was very beautiful to play [here]. The atmosphere is always fantastic.
"It was fantastic to play today."
On his goal, Pirlo added: "I liked to score in the same situation in my career.
"Scoring in Anfield is always a good sensation.
"I am happy - not about the result but it was for charity."
He did not rule out the prospect of another fundraising match between the two sides - perhaps over in Italy next time.
Tweeting after the final whistle, the official AC Milan account posted: "Thank you Anfield, it's been an amazing day! Grazie a tutti!"
