VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University entered into a memorandum of understanding with GAIT (Green Artificial Intelligence Technology) Labs India, a company working on global climate technologies.
As part of the MoU, a Centre of Excellence will be set up on the AU campus for developing tools and techniques for providing reliable and economical solutions for various local and global environmental management issues.
Andhra University will provide its physical infrastructure and expert resources for this Centre, while GAIT will extend IT and software support. The centre will take up research projects and offer national and international consultancy services.
This consultancy and research work may help optimise certain nature-based solutions, while providing valuable insights into the fields of geo-engineering and green projects.
