Andhra Pradesh: TTD to resume arjitha seva tickets electronic dip system

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will resume the issuance of the most sought-after arjitha seva tickets through the electronic lottery dip system to devotees from March 31.

TTD — in Andhra Pradesh's Chittoor district — is reviving this method of ticket issuance after a span of two years.

TTD had suspended the conduct of the arjitha sevas at the Tirumala temple following the outbreak of Covid-19 since March 20, 2020.

Devotees wishing to take part in the lottery system can enrol themselves at the current booking counter near the central reception office at Tirumala between 11am and 5pm.

The allotment of seva tickets under the lottery system will be run at 6pm daily on automated randomised numbering system in the presence of the enrolled devotees.

Meanwhile, TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy underlined that there was tremendous response to the Gau-Adharitha Prakruthi Vyavasayam (Cow-based natural farming) techniques being promoted by the TTD among the world community.

Dr KS Jawahar Reddy virtually took part in a two-day workshop being organised at SVETA in Tirupati to discuss and deliberate on the road map to aggressively promote cow-based natural farming techniques across the state of Andhra Pradesh.
