One of the main roads in West Belfast is currently closed in both directions after a major crash.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident on the Andersonstown Road.

PSNI, Northern Ireland Ambulance and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene close to Casement Park.

The public is asked to stay away from the area at this time.

Sinn Fein councillor Ronan McLaughlin said: "Terrible incident on the Andersonstown Road.

"Fire Brigade, Ambulance and Police is on the scene. Hopefully everyone involved is OK.

"Need to let the Ambulance and Fire Brigade do their job so please avoid the area."
