Law firm Thorntons has appointed Catriona Miller as a partner in its Edinburgh private client team.
Miller moves to the full-service firm's Edinburgh office at Haymarket after just over 17 years at Anderson Strathern, where she was a partner and senior associate, having started her career at Fyfe Ireland and worked there from 1991 to 2003.
Miller, who grew up in East Lothian but graduated from the University of Aberdeen, specialises in wills, powers of attorney and tax efficient succession planning.
She said: “I’m delighted to start this new chapter in my career with such a diverse and dynamic firm. I intend to continue to develop my network of connections in the industry and with clients, be an inspiring leader for my team and support Thorntons’ CSR activities within the community.”
