Amy Schumer's son's adorable reaction as he spots star on TV for the first time

Amy Schumer's son Gene had a sweet reaction to seeing his mum on TV for the first time.

The one-year-old little boy was sat comfortably on his dad Chris Fischer's lap while he watched the Super Bowl with his parents.

The excited I Feel Pretty actress, 39, turned to her son, moments after she made an appearance in the Super Bowl advert as the fairy godmother.

In the advert, she said: "I'm your fairy god Mayo, and that is a hot mess."

On the sofa, Amy turned to Gene to watch his reaction to her advert.

She said: "Is that mom? Is that mommy?" Gene sucked away on his dummy as he watched the screen.

Amy and Chris welcomed their son Gene into the world in May 2019.

The couple walked down the aisle in 2018 and never looked back.

Recently, Amy gave her original take on parenting when she appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The actress remembered how she used to sneak out of the house with her husband when leaving their son with a nanny.

However, she now realised this wasn't the best thing to do.

She said: "Page one of this [parenting] book is literally like, "Whatever you do, don't sneak out. That's really bad for your child... I'm like, 'OK.' Not to mention, we did name him genital."

Amy added: "My instincts are really poor, but you just have to live and learn."
