Amy Nuttall 'rumbled' husband Andrew Buchan's 'affair' over detail in new lingerie

Amy Nuttall reportedfly found out that her husband Andrew Buchan had started a new relationship after finding lingerie he bought for another woman.

The former Emmerdale actress, 40, has been left heartbroken following claims that Broadchurch actor Andrew , 44, allegedly played away with his Better co-star Leila Farzad.

Sources claimed that Andrew told Amy he was leaving her just days before Christmas and has since left the family home to move in with Leila, 40.

But Amy reportedly had suspicions before receiving the heartbreaking news that her 11-year marriage had come to an end.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "He was away a lot, which wasn’t unusual because of the nature of his work, but at one point Amy realised he had been staying in hotels very near to home.

"As time moved on, there were some tell-tale signs that he had become close to Leila, just something in his mannerisms and in their social media posts together.

"But the final straw was the lingerie, that's what clinched it."

The source added that Amy knew that the frisky lingerie wasn't for her the second she made the discovery.

Since the news broke about their split, the Downtown Abbey actress has been inundated with support from thousands of fans after sharing a cryptic post on her Instagram page.

Amy shared a quote which read: "I am not impressed by money, social status or job title. I'm impressed by the way someone treats other human beings."

Her upload which has been liked by hundreds of her followers has since been flooded with messages of support, with one fan writing: "Sending you positive thoughts and a hug."

"I don't know you but stay strong. You have a lot of love around you. You'll get through this trust me," added a second.

While a third went on to type: "Terrible I don't know why women want to make other women unhappy and betray them! We know there are cheaters in this world but other women should pick each other up not down!!"

"Kindness is everything," penned another.

The former couple tied the knot on September 8, 2012, close to where they both grew up in Lancashire and often put on a loved-up display on red carpets.

Representatives for Amy, Andrew and Leila were approached for comment.
