Amir Khan smashed his luxury Mercedes into a motorway central reservation in a terrifying accident.
The Bolton boxer took to social media to share the “scary experience” with his followers this morning (November 16).
It is believed the accident happened on the southbound carriageway of the M6 motorway between J13 and J12 in the West Midlands.
Luckily, the 33-year-old managed to escape injury and posted images online of the aftermath of the collision, which he described as "like being hit with a combo."
The former boxing world champion revealed the white Mercedes S350, believed to be worth around £90,000, aquaplaned along the wet road surface.
In the post, he said: "Thank Allah everyone is safe.
"A scary experience. Car lost control on the motorway.
"Smashing into the side of the motorway barrier felt like being hit with a combo!"
Aquaplaning happens when a layer of water builds between the wheels of a vehicle and the road surface, leading to a loss of control for the driver.
The ex-Olympic silver medallist is known for his love of luxury cars - owning a £271,000 Lamborghini Aventador, a £233,000 Rolls Royce Phantom and a £65,000 Range Rover.
