An exclusive version of the “thrilling” Far Cry 6 is on sale thanks to Amazon Prime Day 2023.
Far Cry 6 is the latest instalment of the first person shooter series. Originally released in 2021, the game follows guerrilla fighter Dani Rojas taking on the brutal dictatorship of Yara, a fictional Caribbean Island. The game’s map is huge, with players taking part in a series of missions and side quests to complete the game.
It received a mixed reception from critics upon its release. Game Informer called it a “non-stop thrill ride”, citing its “exciting” storyline. However, Polygon labelled it as a “waste of potential” thanks to its “fumbling” of a coherent political theme.

This Amazon exclusive includes the full game, as well as the Jungle Expedition Pack with a new outfit, weapon and compass to use. Given its mixed reception, now might be the ideal time to pick the game up given its discounted price.
It is available for £17.99, down from £19.99, on the Xbox Series X or the Xbox One. This is a discount of 10%. The PS4 version is being sold at the same price, while the PS5 version can be purchased for £17.10.
Amazon Prime Day finishes today, with a range of savings available for Prime members. Prime membership currently costs £95 a year or £8.99 a month, although you can sign up for a 30 day free trial.
