Amazon gets $600 million back after Supreme Court sinks Trump tariffs

Amazon announced it received over $500 million in refunds from tariffs imposed by President Trump.
Amazon's CFO Brian Olsavsky confirmed the company received approximately $600 million in the second quarter from these refunds.
The refunds follow a Supreme Court ruling that declared President Trump's tariffs, implemented under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), illegal.
Amazon plans to proactively contact affected customers to issue some refunds and will utilize the remaining funds to invest in low prices.
The Supreme Court's 6-3 decision invalidated tariffs previously applied to imports from China, Mexico, Canada, and those related to the trade deficit.
