Amanda Holden has once again left viewers stunned as she stepped out in a jaw-dropping outfit for the Britain’s Got Talent grand final, and she’s made it very clear she’s not about to start covering up anytime soon.
The 54-year-old judge lit up the stage alongside Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli in a stunning white gown that certainly made an entrance. As the final kicked off on ITV, fans took to social media to heap praise on her look. One gushed, “Amanda looks incredible in that white dress #bgt #BGTFinal.” Another wrote, “Amanda Holden looking stunning for tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent final.” A third added, “Amanda Holden gets better looking with age! #BGT”, reported the Mirror.

It’s not the first time Amanda’s outfits have sparked conversation, and it definitely won’t be the last. Over the years, some of her more daring fashion choices on the family-friendly show have landed her in hot water with viewers, with a few even complaining to Ofcom. But Amanda’s made no secret of the fact that she has no plans to tone things down.
Back in 2017, she caused a stir in a sheer Julien Macdonald dress that featured a plunging neckline and just enough sparkle to keep things together. That particular look became the most complained-about TV moment of the year. Laughing it off, Amanda quipped at the time, “I had bits of fish wire underneath my breasts trying to hold that together… It’s all quite laughable, but all everyone seems to talk about. It’s been called another national crisis – but, oh no, I will not be covered up.”
She’s taken all the fuss in her stride and even turned it into a bit of a backstage ritual. “There’s a whole body of people that knock on my door and come and stare at my chest before we go on air,” Amanda said in a previous interview. “There’s a t*t committee. There are so many brilliant people, they come down, knock on the door, and there’s the lady who’s the producer who said, ‘Mandy, it looks great’.”

Beyond the fashion and the performances, Amanda also gave fans a little peek behind the scenes, revealing how the judges like to celebrate once the cameras stop rolling. “Normally the party is in my room after the show,” she shared. “Bruno is the first in for a glass of red before the producers and perhaps my Golden Buzzer act pop in. The door is always open and the bubbles are always flowing.”
She added that her husband and daughters have been down to the show most weeks this series, which made things even more special. Amanda also revealed that Simon Cowell has become more of a softie these days, especially now that his son Eric joins him at auditions and the live shows. “Simon will quite often look to Eric to see how he is reacting to an act,” she said. “We joke that all our kids will replace us soon on the panel in the years to come.”
Love her or not, Amanda’s not changing for anyone — and fans wouldn’t have it any other way.
