Liverpool and Chelsea fans have expressed their frustrations at the FA Cup final's early kick-off time and its impact on their viewing experience.
The match started at the unusual time of 4.45pm. In 2021 and 2020 FA Cup finals, kick-off was at 5.15pm and 5.30pm respectively.
However, the kick-off time for this year’s final was changed due to the Eurovision Song Contest. Due to BBC scheduling issues, the FA Cup final was brought forward.
But fans watching complained that the early match start caused several shadows to cover the pitch. Sharing their frustrations on Twitter, one user said: "Sun glare putting me off."

Miha said: "In London, they obviously don’t know how to set up exposure when there is so much sun! #Wembley #FACupFinal quite difficult to see anything."
Another wrote: "This sun glare in the #FACupFinal is brutal. But to be fair, it's England...so nobody planned for it."
Stephen tweeted: "AHH, the infamous Wembley Shadow."
@NotSoGreatReset said: "They should have had this FA cup final as an evening game. You can't see a thing down one end with the contrast in shadows and sunshine. Makes the game almost unwatchable."
And Dale Hargan added: "Petition for all games at Wembley to be played after sunset so we don't have this awful shadow every game."
