Republican-leaning U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is one of those people who is not shy about revealing his identity as a hate-mongering bigot. In recent months, Graham has consistently shown his unwavering support for dictator Donald Trump and his policies, including defending the bond between the United States and Israel, even as the latter continues to commit a genocide against the Palestinian people.
If Lindsey Graham’s past comments about Donald Trump weren’t problematic enough, he has now taken his absurdity to new heights by claiming that the current administration is “killing all the right people.” He made these views clear at a recent Republican Jewish Coalition event, where he spoke to the assembled crowd. He said:
“I feel good about the Republican Party. I feel good about where we’re going as a nation. We’re killing all the right people and we’re cutting your taxes.”
He followed this up by declaring his loyalty to Donald Trump, calling him his favourite President. He even boasted about the United States currently running out of bombs, and compared it with World War II, when the country still had bombs left. As he continued his address, he professed his love for capitalism and, at regular intervals, reiterated his love for Israel, which has been committing war crimes in Palestine for over two years now.
Viewers who caught Lindsey Graham’s speech on social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), had plenty to say about it. One user commented on a viral video from the event and said:
“This is why I hate Republicans. Nothing to improve the life of average Americans. All they offer is death, destruction, and hate.. plus tax cuts for billionaires.”
Another individual, while pointing out a notable trend in Lindsey Graham’s behaviour, remarked:
“Lindsey Graham is a sellout and a traitor. He has so much blood on his hands he is going to the deepest depths of Hell. Of course, Lindsey Graham doesn’t really believe in God or the Devil, hence the endless killing he supports for his greed.”
Several others shared similar sentiments in their criticism of Lindsey Graham, Donald Trump, and the Republican Party.
