Glasgow is set for major road closures this weekend as two cycling events roll into town.
The first stage of the eight-day OVO Energy Tour of Britain will see the world’s top riders arrive to Glasgow's city centre this Saturday.
Cyclists will face the challenge of a 125 mile opening leg from George Square through Renfrewshire, East Ayrshire and South Ayrshire before crossing into Dumfries & Galloway.
Also making it's way through the city this weekend is charity cycle Pedal For Scotland.
The race sets out from Glasgow Green in the east end of the city on Sunday between 7.30am and 9am, before racers head east towards the finish line in Edinburgh.
Unfortunately, big events like these two mean road closures - so if you’re planning on travelling through town this weekend, you might want to take a note of the following traffic info.
