All the outfits Jonathan Ross has worn on Celebrity Traitors

Usually on The Traitors it’s Claudia Winkleman’s outfits everyone’s eyes are on, but on the celebrity spin-off, Jonathan Ross has been showcasing a wardrobe filled with as many statement pieces.

The 64-year-old presenter packed an array of fun, more outrageous outfits for his time in the Scottish castle.

They include this leopard-print cardigan:

And he also opted a very stylish black coat, with an OTT black fur trim - complete with black shades:

It’s not just the leopard print cardie either, he’s also been seen in a statement striped beige and black oversized knit:

But in his portrait, he went for a slightly smarter look, with a salmon pink checked blazer:

He even channelled his inner Sherlock Holmes in a multicoloured tweed cape and purple leather gloves — the ultimate mix of country gentleman and camp sleuth:

Perhaps he was just trying out options for his annual Halloween party, but let’s not forget this Top Gun meets Ghostbusters chic in a khaki flight suit and aviators:

Despite his look-at-me attire, Jonathan Ross was chosen by Claudia Winkleman to play one of the titular Traitors alongside comedian Alan Carr and singer Cat Burns. He was tasked with secretly “murdering” his fellow contestants while avoiding detection.

However, he admitted that all of the secrecy took its toll and he “didn’t enjoy” taking part.

So much so that he has even warned his celebrity friends against signing up for future series.

Speaking on his Reel Talk with Honey & Jonathan Ross podcast, which he co-hosts with his daughter Honey, the chat show veteran said the deceitful nature of the game quickly became emotionally exhausting.

“I’ve had two celebrity friends call me and say, ‘I’ve been approached — should I do it?’” he revealed. “I’m giving them the benefit of my experience, which was that I didn’t enjoy it. I found the lying really wearing; it left me feeling increasingly uncomfortable.”

He continued: “You’re sharing cars with people in the mornings, trying not to give anything away, and you end up lying constantly. You’re on the defence the whole time, looking people in the eye and lying.”

He did however praise the production team for pulling off what he described as an “incredible job” given the scale of the shoot.

“Bear in mind, there were 19 contestants in our version, plus challenges and big chunks of the day that have to be covered,” he said. “It’s almost impossible for them to condense it all — but they’ve done an incredible job, and there were lovely people working on it. They looked after us all.”

Ross also said co-star Carr deserves far more screen time, revealing that plenty of hilarious moments were left on the cutting-room floor.

“There are so many funny things he did and said which I know should have been in the first episode but weren’t — and should’ve been in the second,” Ross said. “There’s something that happens later on which also isn’t in. It’s like there’s Alan Carr gold waiting out there to be spun into something.”
