All the new films and TV shows coming to Netflix UK this month

A new month means new films and shows will be added to Netflix, but what's coming in December 2022?

Netflix UK tweeted that there would be some new additions from their archives, including The Breakfast Club (1985), Good Will Hunting (1997), and Stand By Me (1986). Also releasing on the platform this month is the highly anticipated sequel to Knives Out, Glass Onion, although that won't be out until December 23.

In TV news, a new series of Emily in Paris will be out on Netflix on December 21, and a new show The Recruit starring Noah Centineo (best known for his role in All the Boys I Loved Before) will be launching on December. 16 Fans of Dream Home Makeover will be treated to a new season releasing on December 9.

Here's a list of everything coming to the platform this month:

21 Jump Street - Two cops (Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill) go undercover as high school students to bust a drug ring.

The Breakfast Club - This 1985 classic follows five high school students forced to attend Saturday morning detention at school, who form an unlikely bond.

Good Will Hunting - A psychological drama starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and the late Robin Williams as psychiatrist Dr Sean Maguireto.

Stand By Me - The film follows Gordie, Chris, Teddy, and Vern, four friends who decide to hike to find the corpse of Ray Brower, a local teenager. Based on the Stephen King book.

Pulp Fiction - Maybe Quentin Tarantino's most famous work, the film stars John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, and Tim Roth as a series of incidents intertwine their lives in four tales of violence and redemption.

Dream Home Makeover, season four - Shea and Syd are back and making people's interior design dreams come through.

Scream - The 1996 horror follows Sidney (Neve Campbell) as she's terrorised by a mysterious figure in the now iconic Ghostface mask.

Basketball Wives, seasons one and two - Take a look inside the drama-filled lives of wives, ex-wives, and girlfriends of professional basketball players.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery - Daniel Craig once again place famous detective Benoit Blanc in this star studded mystery with Edward Norton and Kate Hudson.

Coach Carter - Samuel L. Jackson stars in this 2005 American biographical teen sports drama film.

Dead End - A new Polish comedy show follows a group of people sharing a ride who accidentally switch cars with a bank robber, who then pursues them to retrieve the stolen money he left in the trunk.

Forged in Fire: Knife or Death, Season one - This 2018 competition show is coming to Netflix, you can watch as top bladesmiths compete to create the best weapons and prove their effectiveness in a series of daunting challenges.

Emily in Paris, season three - Taking place a year after she's moved to Paris for her dream job, Emily is once again faced with career and romantic challenges.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale - An adaptation of the 1987 Japanese film Hachikō Monogatari, which told the true story of the Akita dog named Hachikō who lived in Japan in the 1920s. The film moves the story to America, and stars Richard Gere.

The Happytime Murders - A 2018 comedy crime film takes place in an alternate version of LA where puppets and humans co-exist.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, season one, Episodes 25-38: The Final Episodes - new episodes of the hit anime show are coming to Netflix.

The Recruit - A new show follows Noah Centineo as a CIA lawyer who stumbles into the dangerous world of international espionage.

LEGO Friends: Holiday Special - A festive special follows the five friends in Heartlake City.

Love Island USA, season three - The American version of Britain's iconic dating competition is just as messy.

The Masked Scammer - A documentary featuring interviews with both his accomplices and victims, this deep dive explores how a master con man scammed French elites out of millions of euros.

Meekah, season one - Join Meekah and her adventures in this Blippi spin-off series.

My Girl - During a summer of profound changes, a spirited 11-year-old girl (Anna Chlumsky) turns to her best friend (Macaulay Culkin) for support when her widowed dad falls for someone new.

Peppermint - After her family is murdered, a mild-mannered mom (Jennifer Garner) remakes herself into a badass vigilante in order to exact violent justice.

Qala - A Netflix film that follows a talented singer, haunted by her past, with a rising career copes with the pressure of success, a mother's disdain and the voices of doubt within her.

Troll - An explosion in the Norwegian mountains awakens an ancient troll, and officials appoint a fearless paleontologist to stop it from wreaking deadly havoc.

Troy - Queen Helen flees Sparta to be with her love, the Prince of Troy. In retaliation, the Greeks marshal their entire armada and stage a decade-long siege.

Big Brother, Seasons 10 and 14 - Be a fly on the wall in this reality competition show ahead of the new series in 2023, where a group of strangers live together in a house outfitted with cameras and microphones, following their every move.
