The final series in the trilogy follows the lives of Jack, Angela and Anna who, after twenty years, return to Liverpool, to face their deadliest enemies in a battle with the past to win freedom in the present.

Episode six of Tin Star season three opens on a relatively cheerful note as Jack and Angela say I do with their wedding on Southport Pier, a popular destination for many families.

Michael, the gang boss, has his sights set on the newly-married happy couple and in a showdown at a fairground, Michael offers Anna the chance for Jack and Angela to escape.

As they refuse the offer we see Michael in Liverpool City Centre promising to kill two out of the three protagonists.

The Worth's overpower Michael, leaving him to get arrested by the police but he has other ideas.

Jack, Angela and Anna find their way onto the roof of the building they were in and with police helicopters circling, they find light in the situation and joke about what Jack and Angela might do for their honeymoon, event suggesting a nice, quiet life back in Canada.

However, fans noticed the building at least it is where the scene is filmed – is Liverpool’s Martin’s Bank Building, which next to the city’s town hall and can be seen on a stroll through the business district for avid fans of the show.

The show also takes in the sights from the other side of River Mersey and one of Wirral's popular seaside towns.
Characters are seen venturing around New Brighton promenade with the arcade also getting some screen time.
A hotspot for day trippers on many weekends and school holidays, you can now visit what was used as a filming location when getting some fish and chips, ice cream or strolling along Wallasey beach.

But that's not the only peninsula spot along the coastline, Tim Roth ventured on.

Seacombe Ferry, where people can travel from, to return to Liverpool or even a River Explorer cruise departing from nearby Woodside terminal, is also shown on screen.

Tin Star’s creator Alison Jackson has previously teased the possibility of future episodes.

She told the Metro: “Well, I know the ending and I think yes, it could come back.

"We certainly went into season three knowing that it would be the conclusion of the big overarching story. But never say never.”
