Even though the ones we lose still remain close to our hearts, the emptiness left behind is often difficult to comprehend and there are simply no words to describe the impact they once had in our lives.
That's why each week Bristol Live shares the messages and tributes of those who have recently passed or those who have been gone for longer, right here on our page in the form of death and funeral notices and 'in memoriam' messages.
We have compiled a list from October 8 until October 14 that is filled with warm, loving messages written and posted by family, friends and acquaintances.
Anyone who wishes to send a tribute to a relative or friend, find out funeral details or leave donations in memory of any of the people featured in the following list, can visit the Funeral Notices website.
