While the Brownlow Medal is an opportunity to celebrate all the amazing AFL players, it’s also the night where we normies get to snoop the red carpet for major fashion moments! So, without further ado, here are some of the best looks from the 2025 Brownlows.
Yes, yes. We know the Brownlows are about the players and the ~game~, but it’s no secret that everyone is keeping an eye out for the outfits.
Prior to the event, insiders claimed that the AFL put its foot down and reminded players that the Brownlows were about “who is the fairest and best player in the competition, as opposed to who has the hottest girlfriend”.
The insider also dished that AFL said “it’s not a beauty competition”, per the Herald Sun.
Anyways, in an act of defiance, we’re here with the best looks from the 2025 Brownlows!
Let’s take a geeze, shall we?
The best looks from the 2025 Brownlow Medal
Side note: We will be continuously updating this page with looks. So, please, hit that refresh button for more!
Eddie Betts and Anna Scullie

We will ALWAYS froth a dress that has pockets! I also love the colour and the pattern on the dress. It’s just so elegant, classy, and so award-show chic.
Luke Parker and Kate Lawrence Parker

I’m gonna be so honest, it’s not my favourite dress of the night. However, I see the vision especially with the slicked-back hair. I also think the business in front, party in the back style is fun, but I think it could be cuter without the full sleeve.
Regardless, Kate is still rocking that look!
Casey Battle

Truly bringing in the drama, Casey Battle took on the 2025 Brownlows with this black ballgown with matching mesh gloves. The leg is also giving Angelina Jolie at the 2012 Oscars. We’re obsessed.
Hugh Boxshall and partner Maddie Antonis

Everything about this dress, I adore! The colour, the movement, the sparkle and everything in between is just so alluring.
And can we talk about the bayang? The bayaaaaannng, woooooooo the bayanggg!
Jack Steele and Jaz Buckley

Ahh yes! A pop of pink we love to see! Jaz Buckley is truly serving Barbie’s dream alongside an exposed corset — a trend we’ve been seeing throughout the Brownlows. The silver bag is also cute!!!
Patrick and Mardi Dangerfield

I am definitely getting the vibe that exposed corsets are in at this years’ Brownlows! I would definitely say Mardi Dangerfield‘s dress is quite similar to Steffani Waters‘ dress when it comes to the construction of the corset and that little see-through vibe. However, Mardi’s corset is covered by a long-sleeve mesh, giving the dress that extra drama.
Regardless, we love ’em both ways.
Josh Daicos and partner Annalise Dalins

Now this is what I mean by majestical, flowy, delicate!!!! Annalise‘s 2025 Brownlows dress is something I would wear, running through a field, towards my knight in shining armour. I also loooooove how long the body / corset of the dress is. It’s just so dreamy. Josh Daicos looks good, too.
Aliir Aliir and Sabina Wheatley

While I can’t see the front of the dress at this angle, I will say that I froth the hair! I’ve always been obsessed with the wet, Kim Kardashian met gala wet look, and Sabina Wheatley definitely pulls that off!
Max and Jessica Gawn

Another flowy, majestical, vibey dress from Jessica Gawn at this year’s Brownlows, and we will be loving every single flowy, majestical, vibey dress that graces that carpet!
Darcy Moore and Dee Salmin

These two deserve a spot on this list because, firstly, that matching brooch???? Cute! The hanging details on Dee Salmin make it look like she’s dripping in pearls, and lastly, I love a turtleneck.
Come for me if you have issues. Thank you, next!
Callum and Tiffany Mills

I don’t know why, but I am so drawn to the flowy, cape-like looks of this year. Tiffany Mills‘ custom Viktoria & Woods dreamy, dusty blue silk dress with the shawl is definitely one of my favourites, and I love the little lace details at the end of the dress to give it that extra oomph.
Isabella Cavallaro

Another cap has hit the Brownlow red carpet, and we’re not mad about it! This time around, Isabella Cavallaro is giving us a pearly, icy look, and that bag kinda looks like an AFL ball… or maybe that’s just me.
Josh Dunkley and Tippah Dwan

OKAYYYYYY! We’ve got another (slightly) matching moment. Judging from Josh Dunkley and Levi Ashcroft‘s looks with their gorgiana partners, Meka Norton-Smith and Tippah Dwan, these two couples definitely had a group chat on coming out with the most unique looks.
The Lions are doing something and I’m here for it.
Levi Ashcroft and Meka Norton-Smith

FINALLY! Some matchy matchy going on!!!! While we adore the matchy-matchy moment, we do have to talk about Meka‘s dress. It’s just absolutely phenomenal! I’m extremely drawn to the detailing of the top half. It kinda reminds me of that red armour Katniss wore for promo in one of the Hunger Games movies.
It’s just a lot of fun to look at! I’m also a sucker for this colour palette, so this is like 100000000/10 for me.
Timnah Poratt

“I Just Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” with a 2025 yassification? Well, yes.
Jokes aside, we’re (and I mean me) are obsessed with the hood, the glitter and the earrings. Love it, love it, love it.
Laura Kane

While it’s simple, the little details are what give this dress that Brownlows pizzazz we all know and love!! Also, that little bag? How cute!
Chloe Furnari

If Autumn were an outfit/person, it would be Chloe Furnari in this 2025 Brownlows fit!!! The cape and the cut-outs are just drama!!! We love it!
Issac Kako and mother, Samiya Kako

Taking a moment to not acknowledge how cute this is, but also how amazing Isaac Kako‘s hair looks!!!
Ariarne Titmus

OK, I may be biased, but this colour on anyone is just *chef’s kiss*!!! I’m also obsessed with the cuff on the right hand. Truly an interesting piece of metal, and I lowkey want it.
Isaac Heeney and Steffanie Waters

Definitely not my fave look of the night, but I see the vision! I love the green on Steffanie, thought. And while I’m not a big fan of the corset, it does remind me of those iconic 2010s Triangl bikinis that everyone had.
I unfortunately did not have that, but had a knock-off one from ICE!
Tom Harley and Felicity Harley

The extravaganzaaaaaaaa on the shoulders!!! The colour, the texture — again, that extraness. We’re obsessed.
Tiana Simic

I see that the fur was definitely the staple piece of the fit, but I wish Tiana Simic had left it off the carpet. Mostly because it covers the cute, black dress she’s got on! But hey, if it’s the vibe, it’s the vibe and I’m not gonna take that away from her.

Sarah Jones

Presenter and sports queen Sarah Jones has truly channelled spring with this yellow gown!! Truly in awe of the pop of colour this look is giving.
Sam Flanders and Ellie Dickinson

OKAYYYY! Now this is glam! Ellie Dickinson definitely outshines her AFL-playing partner, Sam Flanders, with this fit. I think some people will have a bone to pick with the ruching, but I kinda like how it gives her that snatched silhouette. Also obsessed with the colours of this geddup.
Charli Wheeler

Truly embracing magpie swooping season, Charli Wheeler, the partner of Noah Anderson, has graced the red carpet with the feathery ‘fit. It’s noice, it’s different, it’s unique. And I’m curious about how it feels… is it itchy? Is it warm? I have questions!

Bailey Smith

Seemingly arriving alone, Bailey Smith has graced the Brownlows’ red carpet in a black suit with some funky af glasses.
Max Holmes and Jess Butler

I am a SUCKERRRR for a massive cutout in the front. I would say it’s a deep V, but at this point, it’s not? I know it’s not for everyone, but I am obsessed.
However, never been a fan of a middle slit. The colour is gorgeous too.
Connor O’Sullivan and Libby Clifford

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again. If you want fashion at the Brownlows, it’s the WAGs who pull through!!! Honestly, not too much of a fan of this dress — lowkey reminds me of pho, which we loveeeee — BUT I see the vision.
Lexi Mary

Starting off strong with this gorgeous piece from Lexi Mary, the partner of the Bulldogs’ Rory Lobb, who’s sporting this hypnotic, one-sleeve gown. It honestly reminds me of those push pop lollies that are blue and pink. It’s cute, it’s cvnty, it’s giving.
If you’re keen on seeing who cops the medal, you can watch the Brownlows on Channel Seven or on 7Plus.
