Alison Sweeney Teases Love Triangles In Upcoming Hallmark Mystery

Hannah Swensen, portrayed by Alison Sweeney, navigates through romantic entanglements.

Hannah Swensen, the beloved baker and amateur sleuth, is set to navigate through more romantic entanglements in the upcoming Hallmark Mystery, One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. The character, portrayed by Alison Sweeney, has been a fan favorite since her debut in the Murder, She Baked Mysteries in 2015.

Initially caught in a love triangle between Detective Mike Kingston (Cameron Mathison) and dentist Norman Rhodes (Gabriel Hogan), Hannah's romantic journey has been a rollercoaster for viewers. While she accepted a proposal from Mike in the revived Hannah Swensen Mysteries franchise, recent developments have hinted at a shift in her love life.

In the latest installment, One Bad Apple, viewers will witness Hannah entangled in not one, but two love triangles. Norman, who is currently in a committed relationship, will vie for Hannah's attention with Professor Bradford Ramsay, played by Oliver Rice. Additionally, prosecutor Chad Norton, portrayed by Victor Webster, will enter the scene, sparking undeniable chemistry with Hannah.

Despite the absence of Mike in this chapter, Sweeney hinted at the possibility of his return, drawing parallels to her long tenure on Days of Our Lives. The actress emphasized the importance of keeping the audience engaged and invested in the evolving dynamics of Hannah's relationships.

Furthermore, One Bad Apple will delve into the bond between Hannah and her sisters, Andrea and Michelle, portrayed by Lisa Durupt and Tess Atkins, respectively. The trio, dubbed as the 'Scooby-Doo troop' by Sweeney, will continue to play a crucial role in solving mysteries alongside their mother, Dolores.

With Sweeney taking on the role of scriptwriter for One Bad Apple, the narrative promises to offer twists and turns that will challenge and captivate viewers. The premiere of One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is scheduled for Friday, April 5, at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Mystery, inviting fans to immerse themselves in the captivating world of Hannah Swensen once again.
