Locals in Portobello are rallying round to help as the effort to find missing woman Alathea Byrne - also known as Alice - intensifies.
Residents of the Edinburgh suburb have formed a Facebook group to find the 28-year-old, last seen between 8am and 10am on New Year's Day as she left a party on Marlborough Street.
Using the power of the internet the group is marking areas on a digital map where CCTV checks and searches have been carried out.
Widespread searches of the town are planned for 10am on Friday.

The group's admin, Rich Howells, hopes the efforts will "increase the area being covered" in the effort to track down the missing woman - as family members continued issuing urgent appeals for her safe return.
In a public post on the #FindAliceByrne group, he said: "We have created several events in Portobello which you can sign up to and we urge everyone in the wider Edinburgh area to create local searches to increase the area being covered.
"Between [Thursday] and Friday we are asking everyone to check their CCTV, gardens, outbuildings and any local quiet spots to help us rule these out, but please do this in a safe manner.
"If you find anything please report via official communication lines and remember not to touch anything."
Searches of six areas are planned for Friday in an attempt to narrow the areas where Alice could be.
Police issued a fresh CCTV image of Alice on Wednesday as official search efforts continued.
Alice is described as white, around 5ft 6ins in height and of medium build with short black hair. When she was last seen she was wearing a, black top, black jeans ripped at the knees and white trainers.
Chief Inspector Kieran Dougal from Craigmillar Police station said: "Alice is known to frequent the Portobello and New Hailes areas of Edinburgh.
"Since she was reported missing, officers have been carrying out extensive searches and enquiries in these areas.
"Local officers led by specialist search advisors have been assisted by resources including the air support unit, police dogs and our marine unit.
"Officers will continue to speak to people who know her and who live in the local community.
"Searches are continuing throughout the area and we would also ask local residents to check their outbuildings and sheds, as well as urging anyone with any information on Alice’s whereabouts to get in touch as soon as possible."

Ch Insp Dougal added: “This is an upsetting time for Alice’s family who are extremely concerned that she has not been in contact with them since Saturday. This is completely out of character for her.
"I would again urge anyone who has seen Alice since Saturday morning, or anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible.
"If Alice reads this appeal, I would urge us to phone her family, friends or the Police. Contact 101 quoting reference 0647 of 2 January."
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the Record today: "Searches and enquiries are ongoing and we are asking anyone with information to contact us."
