How Much Robert MacIntyre Won At The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship

The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is one of the most eagerly anticipated tournaments on the DP World Tour schedule.

Therefore, it was no surprise to see a strong field, including 16 LIV Golfers and members of the victorious European Ryder Cup team, take on the three courses that host the event, Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and the Old Course at St Andrews.

There was frustration along the way thanks to the effects of Storm Amy, which battered the three courses and resulted in Saturday's play being abandoned.

As a result, for the second time in three years, the tournament was reduced to just 54 holes. Meanwhile, rather than just the Old Course hosting the final round, all three were in use as 167 players completed the event.

In the end, it was one of Europe's Ryder Cup heroes, Robert MacIntyre, who won the tournament, cruising home by four ahead of one of his teammates at the Bethpage Black match, defending champion Tyrrell Hatton.

There was a $5m overall purse at the event, a total only beaten by two other regular DP World Tour events (the Nedbank Golf Challenge and the Irish Open), with the Rolex Series tournaments and Majors also offering higher sums.

Thanks to his fourth DP World Tour victory, MacIntyre won $816,000. Hatton's runner-up placing also ensured a lucrative week, with the LIV Golfer winning $528,000.

It wasn't just prize money at stake. With only a handful of events remaining before the DP World Tour Playoffs in the Middle East, there was also the battle to accumulate as many Race To Dubai ranking points as possible.

On of the players to benefit the most this week was Richard Sterne, whose T3 finish ensured he moved up 50 places in the rankings to 66th, inside the cut-off for the first of the Playoffs, the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.

Below is the full prize money breakdown for the 2025 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
