Alexandre Lacazette teased Arsenal teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang following a particular result in Ligue 1 this weekend.
It was Lyon vs Saint-Etienne in the Derby Rhône-Alpes on Sunday night.
Of course, the two Gunners stars have played for the respective teams during their time in France as Lacazette arrived from Lyon in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang had a stint at Saint-Etienne prior to joining Borussia Dortmund before making the switch to the Emirates Stadium.
Despite the rivalry between the two Ligue 1 clubs, Lacazette and Aubameyang are very good friends on and off the pitch.
However, it would appear that friendship was put on hold temporarily during Sunday night's game at the Groupama Stadium.
And it was the Frenchman who would have the last laugh.
In a game that was only settled by Moussa Dembele in second half injury time, Lyon emerged as 2-0 victors to climb back up to fifth place in the Ligue 1 table and leave their rivals two places above the relegation zone.
Taking to social media shortly after the final whistle, Lacazette couldn't resist the chance to remind Aubameyang of the result.
Although in tweeting Aubameyang about the result, Lacazette might have some making up to do with another Arsenal player.
In the Saint-Etienne defence which conceded two goals was William Saliba - the Gunners' £27m defender who is now into the final few months of his loan spell in France.
Due back at London Colney for pre-season training in July, it could be an interesting meeting when the Frenchmen finally meet up.
Saliba has recently spoken about his return to his parent club in the summer, as he insisted that he is fully concentrated on helping his loan club to turn around their season.
"For now, I'm 300% focused on Saint-Étienne," he told Le10 Sport. "My head isn't elsewhere. Next year, I’ll be at Arsenal, but I still follow their results."
