Alex Jones' fans react as she shares photo of herself preparing for Christmas

While Christmas may seem like a while away Welsh TV presenter Alex Jones is getting into the seasonal spirit. She has posted to her Instagram asking fans if it is too early to celebrate the festive season.

Alex has shared a photo of herself wearing a Santa hat and holding a lot of tinsel while looking very excited. She captioned the post: "Too early?" Many of her fans were split in the comments, with some saying it was too early to start celebrating and others also ready to get the tinsel out. One said: "Of course it's too early" followed by a sad face emoji.

Another said: "Noooooooo! Autumn leaves, Halloween and Advent first!" followed by a shocked emoji face. A third added: "Yes! Halloween first please." followed by a pumpkin emoji.

However, others supported Alex's enthusiasm. One said: "Never too early, we all need good things to look forward to." followed by a red love heart emoji. Another said: "Never lol I'd have Xmas lights and trees up all year if I could" followed by a laughing face and Christmas trees emojis.

A third added: "Never, bring it on!" followed by a thumbs emoji and Christmas trees emojis. Alex has recently returned to The One Show after she told her fans on Instagram she was going through a "tricky and challenging time."

While the presenter did not give away any more information she did take a break from The One Show during summer 2022 and returned to presenting at the end of August. During her time away Alex enjoyed spending time with her family while on holiday and celebrating Annie, her youngest child's, first birthday.

Alex hails from Ammanford and is set to appear in a Christmas show with baking chef Marry Berry. Alex and fellow guest fashion designer Patrick Grant will be taught how to make a Christmas feast in Mary Berry's Festive Feasts.
