Alex Collado 'wanted' for Celtic loan as Barcelona set to let attacker leave

In-demand winger Alex Collado is reportedly a target for Scottish Premiership champions Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou remains in the market for reinforcements and the 23-year-old is among a host of players who will be allowed to move on from the Camp Nou this summer, in a bid to get their raft of new signings registered.

Spanish journalist Albert Roge claims Celtic are in for the former Granada loanee and Fabrizio Romano reports he will depart Barcelona imminently. The former Spain U19 international can play multiple positions across the front three and Postecoglou has been looking for added attacking options ahead of his side's Champions League tilt. Collado was raised in Barca's famed La Masla academy but has only earned two senior appearances. His current contract runs to next summer but Barcelona often have options to extend deals for players who have come through the ranks.

Celtic signed Daizen Maeda and Jota on a permanent deals this summer but Record Sport revealed in June that added attacking options are on the radar. Ferencvaros striker Ryan Mmaee has been watched but he remains out injured with an ankle complaint.
