Aldi yogurts recalled amid metal contamination fears

Aldi has issued an urgent product recall for yogurt amid fear some lines could contain shards of metal.

The supermarket chain said the products - supplied by Muller - may have been contaminated.

On Facebook, Aldi wrote: "Our supplier, Muller, has recalled these product as a precautionary measure because they may contain small pieces of metal.

"Customers should return the product to their nearest store where they will receive a full refund.

"We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation."

4088600172521 and 4088600172194 are the barcodes affected.

Affected products carry best before dates of 20/02/20, 26/02/20 and 04/03/20.
