Aldi shoppers are going wild for an incredible SpecialBuy item - with many branding it "beautiful" and "luxurious".
The budget supermarket's latest post-Christmas addition to its bargain products is a blue velvet chair, which customers say “looks more expensive than it is”.
The Kirkton House Blue Velvet Chair, which is only available online, has already received more than 50 five-star reviews, Liverpool Echo reports.
Priced at £59.99, it has soft blue velvet and black legs and promises to “add a touch of glamour to your home”, according to the product description.
The statement chair is similar to Aldi's £79.99 blue velvet scalloped chair that sent shoppers wild earlier this year, coming in £315 cheaper than a near-identical version by high street retailer Oliver Bonas.
One satisfied Aldi customer left a five-star a review on its website and wrote: “Beautiful chair, excellent value. Looks and feels a lot more expensive than it was.”
Another said: “Looks expensive and looks lovely in the lounge. Gorgeous colour”.
A third pleased shopper added: “My velvet chair is absolutely beautiful and super comfortable. The blue colour is gorgeous and it looks very high quality. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. Would definitely buy again.”
A fourth wrote: “This chair is great value for money, lightweight but robust, it comes made up ready for use. It sits well in the bedroom but could be used in any room.”
