Aldi shoppers floored by 'dream' DeLonghi coffee machine that's cheaper than Currys

Aldi have left shoppers floored after seeing a coffee machine that comes at a pretty good price.

Their latest SpecialBuy item has been called a "dream" by many with people rushing to get their hands on them before they sell out.

The budget chain's SpecialBuys - which take place every Thursday and Sunday - often prove popular and it's usually a case of 'you snooze, you lose' with these products.

But one item that people have been keeping their eyes peeled for is Aldi's DeLonghi Infinissima Coffee Machine - and good news, it's cheaper than Currys.

The machine from Aldi costs just £39.99 and is said to give coffee lovers "an exceptional coffee experience from the comfort of your own home."

This compares to Currys version - Dolce Gusto by De'Longhi Infinissim - which costs almost double coming in at £65.99.

Aldi's machine is said to be able to make small and large beverages either hot or cold.

It already has a total of 26 five star reviews and averages 4.5 stars in total.

Reviewing the item one said: "I love this machine - hated the instruction booklet - but once I got past that and played with the machine a little bit, found out what the bits and pieces were for, it's fantastic and I love it!

"The price is excellent because previously i failed to find a coffee pod machine for less that £70. I love that you can make iced coffee with it too, and I love that Aldi pods are compatible and that I can also make a pot noodle with it! it's easy to take apart to clean and reassemble. it's very simple to use. fyi Aldi pods taste no different to Dulce Gusto!"

Another added: "We bought this as spare, already have same type and would hate to be without one."

A third said: "Bought for my sisters Christmas she absolutely loves it no complaints at all she seems over the moon with it.and bonus that it takes own make supermarket brand coffee saving a lot of money! Not like the Tassimo that only takes certain makes so all round a win win."
