Aldi shoppers have gone wild for a £44.99 product they claim looks just like the £175 designer version. From cleaning products to homeware, the budget supermarket is known for its Special Buys that appear to be almost identical to branded items selling for substantially higher prices.
The retail giant's latest must-have is a trunk set selling for just shy of £45. Shoppers say the new Special Buy looks just like a similar and far more expensive set from designer homeware brand MADE.
The Kirkton House Trunk Set is made up of a vintage-style small and large trunk. The trunks, which are both lockable and stackable, are available to purchase in either navy and grey or grey and white and are described as being "ideal for bedding, towels, shoes and more."

The storage set has proven popular among Aldi shoppers, racking up a number of five-star reviews on the Aldi website, reports the Manchester Evening News. One reviewer said: “Well please with these, they are a decent size and look really great. A great price too.”
A second wrote: “Lovely trunk set. A really lovely set, very smart looking and great value for money”. A third happy shopper gushed: “Beautiful trunks. Absolutely love these trunks. Very well made good sturdy and hood lots of ur lovely items. I have placed mine on top of wardobe which looks lovely”
Another added: “Great quality and excellent for the price. I was looking at similar for double the price elsewhere”. And a fifth said: “Super Lovely. These metal trunks are the bee’s knees absolutely lovely, bringing abit of glamour into the bedroom. They look shabby chic.”
